SPIA® technology enables rapid, continuous isothermal linear DNA amplification

NuGEN’s patented SPIA® technology enables rapid, continuous isothermal linear DNA amplification. The SPIA method is carried out at a constant temperature, eliminating the need for thermocycling, substantially reducing assay complexity, and enhancing speed and throughput. The SPIA DNA amplification method has been successfully applied to the rapid generation of high-fidelity copies of DNA samples for use in target identification, sequencing, and for SNP and genotyping analysis. The process is faster than PCR and produces more accurate sequence replication.
